Dissertations suck! that should really say everything about my current state of mind. i have another 1½ week to get 15'000 words down on paper and at the moment that seems near impossible. a few things, apart from bucketloads of coffee and a newfound addiction to cinnamon and raisin bagels, are keeping me going:
- fujiya & miyagi
- the velvet underground
- the pics emerging from london fashion week (it's so much better than New York's...)
- Lost returning to tv
- booking my july trip to Cuba! (Castro better hang on till then)
- Blur's album '13' - in particular the genius 'no distance left to run'
- De Sorte Spejdere - oh god how i miss danish humour
- death cab for cutie - just the perfect library music, you almost forget where you are (nope, i didn't think that was possible when it comes to libraries either...)
- bloc party's 'a weekend in the city'
- the fact that i don't have enough time to listen to the radio and thus have largely avoided Mika's absolutely shite music (how has he been #1 on the singles chart in this country for so long??!!)
- pull tiger tail - tickets for march 21st in glasgow have been purchased! excitement already growing...
- sonic youth
and finally:
- the prospect of FEBRUARY 26 when i surrender my fate to the professors at Edinburgh Uni's management school AND kaiser chiefs release 'yours truly angry mob' (please, please, pleeaase don't let their second single be a letdown...)
